Just that really. They seem of differing qualities so which is the best one you’ve been to?

I've only ever been to one so can't judge, do you have lots near one, I'd have to drive quite a long way to my next nearest one and i can't imagine ever needing to do that so I guess I'll never know if it's lacking in any way

I have just discovered The Range but I agree, they are variable. Frome = good. Swindon = disappointing.

gerispringer · 25/03/2026 19:37

They are all full of Chinese made tat that will be in landfill in a couple of years.

bigsoftcocks · 25/03/2026 20:51

Chichester is big

swapsicles · 25/03/2026 21:00

Our local one is terrible,so many price labels wrong or missing, stock jumbled and in the wrong places and always cages, boxes and all sorts of stock dotted around the shop, often a trip hazard!
I had to wait around 20 minutes the other day for a refund on mislabeled stock as the advisor didn't have a code and management ignored call outs on the tannoy!

Livpool · 25/03/2026 21:02

The one in Edge Lane, Liverpool is good

missspent · 25/03/2026 21:03

Woking (Knaphill) has the best garden section I’ve seen. We’ve now moved to Chichester and the garden section is nowhere near as good, but still does the job

If that's what yours is like they really must vary, my nearest one sells a lot of branded stuff. Quite a mixture but nothing I'd particularly describe as tat

springandeaster · 25/03/2026 22:17

There's a new one a few miles from me and it is very scruffy and run down despite being new.

Needmorelego · 25/03/2026 23:20

The one in Banbury is possibly the most tidy branch I have been in.

BloodandGlitter · 25/03/2026 23:37

Nottingham castle retail park is the worst run shop I've ever seen in my life, no prices, looks like a hurricane has hit the store and no staff.
The Lady bay one on the other hand is absolutely massive and even has a cafe.

Sundaynightterrors · 27/03/2026 15:34

We’ve got 3 within about a 5 mile radius. They are all of a very different quality. The nicest one I have been to was on the outskirts of Cardiff at Culverhouse Cross. If just felt uncluttered.
@BloodandGlitter Your one sounds nice and very big!

My nearest one never had stuff priced correctly on the wee metal arm things hang on. Once you find someone to help they take forever.

They only ever have one till open and one bored looking woman on customer service who doesnt serve anyone even if there's a queue of 20 people.

SilverPink · 27/03/2026 16:02

I like a mooch round The Range - I buy home wares, kitchen stuff, bedding, cleaning products, there’s a huge craft/stationary section and whole colour coordinated aisles for the Christmas decorations.

Are you in Frome? That’s where I live!
