Ninja dual Max air fryer vs Ninja Double Stack XL

Has anyone had both? Got the dual Max right now (the 9l version) but it’s looking a bit tired and more importantly, I need some counter space back. The Stack looks ideal but am wondering what the catch is.

Hi,
My mum and dad have the Dual Max and I have the stack. The stack comes with 2 racks as well as the base plate giving 4 cooking layers. I prefer the stacked design as I never put it away and don't want too much space used to keep it out.

The cooking features are the same with the synch and match options. I seldom use my kitchen oven as the ninja is so handy.

The operating panel is to the right of the baskets and is not the full depth of the machine. It has the usual Air Fry, Max Crisp, Bake, Roast, Reheat and Dehydrate options. I've used all except dehydrate and they work well. I do put oven safe cookware rather than liners for anything in a sauce.

The drawers/baskets I clean in the dishwasher and the shelves racks by hand. The baskets have holes on the real upright part so you can't fill them with water to steep, you'd need to submerge them. After washing them I dry them and leave them upright on the drainer or shake them over the sink as some water gets in the handle.

When I've used my parents' one it seems to be the same as mine but has one cooking later in each drawer. You may be able to order racks but they haven't as they've also got an older 9 in 1 so plenty of cooking options.

I searched online for the lowest price and ordered from Harvey Norman as they had it on sale. QVC were the next cheapest around £180 and all the bigger shops had it at a similar price point around £200-229. Definitely shop around to find the lowest price.

Thank you - this is such a comprehensive and helpful response! Will look out for offers on the stack, I think, and replace the current one.
