Birthday cake that's palm oil free?

Does anyone know a high street place/supermarket that sells a birthday cake which is palm oil free? Thanks.

I think they are all horrible these days and taste of nothing.

I even tried a rather expensive one from Waitrose’s entertaining range which is made to order and it tasted like sweetened soap on a bath sponge.

Appreciate this is not exactly what you are asking but if you can’t make one why not look on your local fb page as there are often local cake bakers who sell homemade cakes with real ingredients.

Waitrose sells Fiona Cairns cakes - no palm oil, look beautiful, taste divine.
Waitrose birthday cakes (the ones which cost £18) don’t contain palm oil either but I haven’t tried them yet so can’t comment on taste.

I hear you. I loathe the stuff with passion, I don’t care if it’s sustainable or not tbh, I want it out of my cakes/ biscuits/ chocolates

I have tried Fiona Cairns and Waitrose own and thought them awful.
Each to her own I suppose.

We had Fiona Cairns golden sponge pink boutique. I thought it was nice. I’m a baker myself so very fussy about cakes. It was moist enough and gently sweet without being sickly sweet.
