Which would you pick?
Job A
Current job. I'm comfortable here, easy enough job, pretty flexible, only do 4 days a week, no childcare needed but absolutely no chance of progression.
Job B
Job I've been offered. Pay rise but mostly taken up with childcare. A big step up from current job with more responsibilities but also more stress. Chance of progression. But 5 days a week and longer hours. Might not get the chance for this role again but I've heard the place is badly managed.
My younger two kids are still young and youngest doesn't sleep so I'm already tired all the time. I do love my current job but would love to do job B. But I don't know if I could hack it right now. The bad management also puts me off as it's a big step up and I feel like I'd need support to start with. I wish this could have come in a year or twos' time. If I don't take the job, I might not get the chance again.
