This weather is perfect.

In the midlands, it’s just lovely. Warm enough to sit out with a cup of tea, but cool enough for a potter about doing jobs. Cold at night too so easier to sleep. If I was being fussy I’d like the evenings a little warmer.
This all year round would be my ideal.

Yes, warm enough to go out without a coat but not so warm you get hot doing things, just right.

It’s a bit of shock at this time of year when it’s mid teens in the daytime but clear skies means it plummets to the low single digits at night!

Looks like the rain will be back again soon. So bored of rain

I'm looking forward to T shirt weather. We're still in hoodie territory at the moment.

Rosepalmaviolets · 22/03/2026 21:45

Op I was saying this to someone the other day !
I was warm enough to sit outside in a t shirt and get sun but as you said cool enough to potter also. Id welcome this year round.

Tee shirt weather in the sun in the middle part of the day, hoody weather in the shade and early/late here, but I do run hot.

Agree it's perfect I really dislike anything over 22 or under 10, love chiller nights as can never sleep in summer.

GloiredeDijon · 22/03/2026 23:58

I said the same to a friend yesterday. It was 16 degrees here and my perfect temperature.
I dread extreme heat and obviously this winter’s endless, biblical rain has been depressing.

It was so lovely yesterday I handed the lawnmower to DS1 and the strimmer to DS2, then sat drinking tea while they got on with it 😁
