I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day - trying out the conservatory this morning, looking out on the garden. I think the dining table may still be my spot of choice 🤔. We'll see when we eventually pick a sofa! But this will be nice for the summer.

The washer's on, but I haven't washed up from yesterday yet. So I'll tackle the pots when I get up for my tablets, then sort my tablets for the coming week, and a second load of washing since I seem to have miles of line here.

Today's plan here is much the same as yesterday - sort through the last of the boxes re-box in matching boxes what's being kept (easier to stack) and sort the rest into various bins/tip. We discovered yesterday that the loft space is unsafe to use so I need to consider some sort of small shed maybe. I'm thinking something like one of those plastic bike lock ups might be enough 🤔.

I also have a box of Easter crafty things, acquired during various sales over the years. That's going in my work whatsapp - someone will collect it, I'm sure.

The only thing left after that is to pull out the contents of the understairs cupboard I wanted to empty last week and make that more useable for the time being.

Dd2's going to carry on with her things in the girls' room. She has a small box of rubbish to come down, and I think a small suitcase and box left to unpack. I'm not quite decided whether to do any of dd1's or leave them for her.

Tea will be the leftovers from last night's Chinese takeaway, followed by showers, and an hour sewing ends into my finished baby gift blanket. Then an early night, ready for the last week of term 🥳. Hopefully we can start to decorate downstairs over the Easter hols.

What about all of you? 🙂

Just finished my lush Sunday brunch: toast, avocado, bacon, egg, cottage cheese and tomatoes washed down with tea. That’ll do till dinner (sausage casserole with mash). Today are jobs I didn’t do yesterday: post off keys to house sitter, mow lawn, do a custom design for my Etsy shop. I’ll probably start printing off parking voucher, insurance docs etc. Change and wash sheets in guest room/my room. (Cat is sleeping on my bed so have to wait til she moves off)!
We are also trying to eat up food in anticipation of two weeks away from Wednesday. DD is finishing off the bacon and whatever mushrooms she doesn’t put in her omelette will go in the casserole tonight. Cleaned out the manky veg drawer a couple days ago. Will hold off cleaning bathroom and big vacuum downstairs til Tuesday, will do the upstairs tomorrow.
Day has turned sunny - everything always looks and feels better in the sun!

Been up since about 8.
hoovered and mopped floors, sorted dogs out and put a wash on

have picked in two loads I hung out yesterday
doing a mini roast later for tea but have a few hours so off with the family and grandchild to the nearest sea side not far from us for a lovely walk in the sun and to try and find some sun hats for grandchild

I was up at 6 yesterday, did a 4 mile walk all the washing and hanging out, lots of cleaning and decluttering and the big food shop so that today can be about more chilled which I love.

have a fab day everyone

@DilemmaDelilahwell done to your sister and niece 🙌🏻 the choir were fantastic and that golden buzzer was well deserved!

@gingercat02what colour were your DH and DS supporting. I’m black and white, so absolutely gutted. I watched the match at home and was so on edge I managed to plough through my ironing pile while watching. Every cloud ….

Yes Toon fans here too, they are home and watching other football and will likely roll into the cup final. Hard to believe we were there last year 😭
It's been a tough week season

Good evening @lucysmam & everyone. Haven’t read the thread yet so hope everyone is ok & enjoying Sunday. I didn’t sleep very well but actually didn’t struggle like I thought I would. Did a 4 hour shift which was mad busy in parts. I did a bit of shopping in the store including cook from frozen Iceland bag meals, Burts crisps & jellybeans. Even though we’re over halfway through March, I also bought a huge desk diary in the sale as I always want to write loads & my small one doesn’t always have enough space. Back at my folks’, I made a cuppa & then an old friend of the family came round which was really nice. I hadn’t seen him for about 20 years. Unfortunately, DM had to go to bed. After he left, I pottered a bit & had a quick peek on Vinted. Chatted to DH on the phone. I should be going home at the end of the week. Just finished another cuppa. Will probably have a frozen duck stirfry thingy for tea - I usually do them in the wok but might microwave it for ease. Need to catch up on the soaps. Or might watch The Other Bennett Sister.
