My 10 year old son loves puppets. I want to take him to a puppet show but not sure if there are any suitable? He loves anything about puppets. Think lunch and Judy shows but not actually that as we’ve done it.

thanks

Lots of cinemas and theatres have autism friendly showings and performances. Have you searched what’s available locally?
If you search Design Technology Puppets you’ll find lots of ideas and resources for things to make and do at home or with friends and family.
You could make a puppet theatre from a large box.
Pinocchio obviously springs to mind to watch and there are lots of Sesame Street clips that can help with social skills and emotions.
Have fun.

What about Bluey, in the night garden, peppa pig etc live on stage? They use puppets. If you book via ATG and other organisations you may get a free carer ticket (check the venues access). I wouldn't worry about him flapping or vocalising (if he does) at these types of shows either and i definitely wouldn't worry if you think he's too old, i take my ds who is nearly 16!
