Travel insurance question Menopause symptoms

Hi so I have to book travel insurance. Last time I was waiting to see a urogynaecologist to see if I could get help with mild incontinence and bladder not feeling empty. Essentially I have vaginal atrophy and I think the bladder issues are linked. My GP has included overactive bladder on my list of diagnoses. I disagree, I don’t get any urge or leaks due to not being able to get to a loo. I think it’s more pelvic floor /stress incontinence. I’m waiting for a flow test to decide which one.

what do I put on travel insurance? Last time all my other conditions which are normally covered (thyroid, blood disorder) were excluded by the specialist insurance which was really irritating.

can I just put vaginal atrophy because the tests are to assess the impact? I’ve seen the urogynae now. Do I have to put OAB even though I disagree and think it will be removed after the flow test?

do I have to use the specialist again even though they then excluded anything I’d ever had (uti, flu, blood disorder etc)

I don’t know but recommend All Clear insurance, give them a call. The lady I spoke to was so helpful and talked me through the whole thing.

If you’ve been diagnosed with it you need to declare overactive bladder as well as the vaginal atrophy. Staysure are brilliant for pre-existing conditions although if you are still undergoing tests it may be trickier.

Thanks both . I feel like I’m not undergoing tests for a new condition it’s all about menopause related issues. It’s so frustrating things are yes/no answers. I’ve refused meds for OAB and I don’t meet the criteria , I just feel like it was an easy offer to be made by the GP and urology. Urology was a two minute waste of time.
