Can anyone help me with the Other phone?
Thinking of getting it as my 11yo's first phone....
Do you need to buy a separate SIM?
Do you need to buy the 5.99 security + ?
Can only find positive/advertising reviews so not sure if it is as great as it says!

That’s a ridiculous price for a phone for a child. And all the fancy features it shows off such as banning certain apps, disabling the browser and blocking content within apps is a normal feature of android and all of those apps anyway, even without additional parental controls.

I hate shit like this that preys on the lack of technical knowledge many people have, you don’t need to spend a fortune on additional software or subscription services, it’s built into android as a standard feature, you just need to know how to use it.

Why not just buy something like this https://www.tesco.com/phones/products/00840493601762

Get a PAYG SIM, £5-10 a month and set up parental controls linked to your Google account.
