I thought it was going to be ridiculous
but actually when you think about it
how often are women’s fb or insta all about the hubby kids etc

and the man’s
the family is barely mentioned

more focus on his work and hobbies and passions etc

I don’t know about social media, but all the men I work with wang on about their wife and kids all the time, in a “look what a great family man I am” way. They think it makes up for them being absolutely diabolical to work with. It doesn’t.

I think this primarily suggests the utter batshittery of deriving ideas about ‘psychology’ or cultural shifts from Instagram.
