Just me and DS11 here. DH just left for the weekend to go and record some music with his band. DCat eating some biscuits after a whole night out. Having some breakfast and the sun is shining.

Am currently still in bed but getting up soon as working today. Its a nice dry day outside, wish I was off.

I’m drinking tea in bed, his sister who lives overseas visited yesterday. She isn’t my favourite person but even I feel very sorry for her with her current issues. She is a very angry person, It is sort of understandable the way her life turned out, it’s been a continuous slow car crash of a life that she often does to herself.

I am off out later to a mates house.

Went for a walk and picked wild garlic.
DS now at circus class so a chance to do some dishes and have a brew. Gorgeous day.

On holiday in the Outer Hebrides! Sitting in the kitchen with the door open, it’s a lovely dry day and not very cold. Dh is still in bed and the dog can’t decide whether he wants to sit with me or go and sit on the bed with Dh. Currently Dh is winning.

Going out for dinner tonight with friends (we used to live here) so having a slow start to the day is lovely.

DH has been to the gym. I've been for an hours walk, picked up a couple of bags of shopping and am about to go out and do a bit of gardening.

Husband left to go to work at 5ish and won’t be back til long after the children are in bed so I was very pleased that they (4yo and 1yo) decided that today was the day to have a bit of a ‘lie in’ (til 8 😂 ) so between 5 and 8 I scrolled uninterrupted, watched below deck uninterrupted, drank hot coffee UNINTERRUPTED 🤣 and so on. Bliss. Anyway, then they got up and had breakfast, we had a dance party to some ‘elder emo’ classics and now we’re out in the garden. DS4 is plucking handfuls of grass to load his toy silage trailers and DD1 is sat on a picnic blanket whacking her stacking cups together and occasionally trying to sit on the dog. It’s rather lovely really.

Very little. I've been to Sainsburys for some food shopping and bought some Easter eggs as well, which I need to hide away somewhere in a minute. Currently browsing on here, and reading the English Heritage magazine which arrived in the post today. I'll put a load of laundry on in a bit.

DH is out, helping someone to sort out their garage, and we'll be having home-made chicken soup for lunch when he gets back.

Cats are draped untidily about the place, as usual.

This afternoon, DH will probably go out for a walk, and I have a book on the go, so I might read some of that, or fiddle about in the garden. Everything is taking off at high speed out there, including the weeds, so I need to keep on top of them.

DP has taken DS & DD to their morning classes, I’ve done a couple of hours studying for my post grad degree.

Off to get some Easter bits for the kids soon (rarely have chance to shop solo) and then go to the hairdressers for a long awaited colour and style!

May go out for dinner this evening or find a pub garden to enjoy the sun in.

I’ve been up for hours - managed 2 loads of washing done and hung out, dog walked.
I’m trying to sort the week out with the diary - meal plans etc. We went down to one car - trying to save the world - this weeks a bloody nightmare as there are 4 days we both would have much easier days if we had a car 😭

DH has gone to pick up a leg of lamb, DS is revising as he has a mate over later, DD is going to help me with a garden potter.

Dp is abroad seeing his friend who has a heart attack
I have just walked the dog, hoovered the house and was going to mow the lawn but the lawnmower won’t turn on
Ds has gone to watch football
Dd has gone to write her learner driver test
