I love the little kindnesses and feel it helps the world seem a little happier of a place.

Has anybody done anything kind for you this week?

My friend suggested we met up for coffee during my lunch this week she wasn't at work that day so got there early enough to get my coffee waiting for me so I wouldn't waste time in the queue when we could be catching up.

Another noticed I was struggling with the printer at work because I have a bad back and she filled the paper up for me. A simple gesture of feeling noticed. It cheered me up all day to be honest

About a fortnight ago a friend said something very kind to me. Not a compliment as such, just a reminder of a particular truth that she had noticed I had perhaps forgotten. It was well timed and meant with such love and care.

My grandson has called in on his way home from school everyday this week to make sure I’m ok and to fill me a flask of tea. I’ve had a seizure and injured myself so I’m avoiding the kettle for obvious reasons and I’m quite sore. He helped me have a short walk around my garden yesterday too. He’s golden x

This is so lovely

I refused a friend's offer to take me out for coffee as I can't reciprocate and she turned up on my doorstep anyway with a takeaway coffee for me. I may have cried a lot a bit.

My DD made me tea in bed as I’ve had major work stress and was having a lie in
My boyfriend bought me a poster because he thought I’d like it 😊
Some golfers were lovey to my dog even though she standoffishly ignored them 🙈
My friend put me up for the night and drove to the restaurant as she knew I was tired
All in the last 3 days which has been lovely. I do try to repay kindnesses and greet everyone with a smile 😊

My friend at work bought me a freddo from the village shop at lunchtime on Friday - she knows I love them.

DH and I are considering buying a house in a new area. We decided to walk around to see what the area is like. We bumped into a couple walking their dog. They gave us a guided tour and lots of information. They were really helpful and good company.

I've had two
First was in local co op when someone was claiming a largish win on scratchcard and he gave me a fiver to pay for my shopping, said if been in the pub he'd have bought everyone a drink instead
Secondly also financial one of my walking netball colleagues insisted on paying for my drink and lunch as I'd arrived a bit late and there was a long queue at the bar and she was already at the front to get hers

Someone told me my dd was a credit to me today. We were at a Lego show and so many of the exhibitors were really kind to dd, letting her operate parts of their intricate models. I was anxious something would break but they were happy to let her.

My BiL has had a hard year. We have now got him a little HA bungalow after some time sofa surfing and lately in a hostel. Bungalow has nothing in it and he owns next to nothing. Looked on freecycle and found a free sofa locally. DH and other Bil went to pick up. When they found out the situation we ended up with not only the sofa but a fridge, bed, towels, nest of tables, bed linen, duvet, blankets and more! They had been looking after Ukrainian refugees who have now moved on and had a lot of things from that. What an amazing family. In addition, with others donations from family and friends we have near enough kitted out the bungalow, with most things he needs.

I am a little bit blown away tonight tbh.

Nope. I am so done with everyone in my life this week.

One of my learners told another teacher I was the best teacher he had ever had.
A colleague looked at a problem on my car and though he couldn't fix it I appreciate him taking a look.
A grandma dropping her DGD off at school took my DGD in so I could get to work on time.
Ppl are always so kind.🙂

My dd poured my hot chocolate out for me while I sat on the sofa on Mother’s Day and whisked half of it into lovely chocolatey froth in a fancy glass. She loves me so much, I’m a very lucky Mama 🥰
