One day like this by Elbow.
It’s one of my favourite songs, whenever I’m in a good mood or doing something simple and enjoyable like walking my dog in lovely weather the song comes into my head.
Then there was the Hawstone Choir on BGT and I burst into tears, sums of farming life when things go right. Great for them supporting mental health amongst farmers

LOVE Elbow. Also love With Love, especially that cascading piano bit.

A beautiful song by Fauré, Les Berceaux. It compares sea going ships crewed by men to cradles rocked by women. It was written in 1879. Go to youtube and find it. I get obsessed by every song I work on.

Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker. A friend sang it at an Open Mic night a couple of months ago. Amazon tells me it is a cover but I haven't tried the original yet. See also Tennessee Whiskey.

I love “song for the countryside” by passenger, its a song from the musical The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry , this is a fantastic musical-saw it 3 weeks ago, amazing show ( saw Passenger outside the theatre as we left, asked him for a selfie, he was a lovely, lovely guy- what a talent! ) our 15year old daughter loved the show-precious times with her
