Do you tip in restaurants? I feel guilty if I don't but my adult children think I am mad. They never tip. What is the norm these days?

I do , provided that service charge hasn’t already been added , but only if the service is good , if it’s rubbish , I don’t !
I do think less and less people tip nowadays though , with introduction of minimum wage especially

We're late 60s, we'll tip around 10% if it's been a good meal with friendly service. We don't tip if we just have something like coffee and cake.

Yes I bring cash so I know it's actually going to the server.

But if they're rude or dismissive as they tend to be in my local Harvester, not a chance 🤣

I always tip in a restaurant. If service is already added then I don't give extra though.
