Ideas for a few hours in London on Saturday

Good Morning!

We are visiting London for the day on Saturday to see a show in the West End. The show starts at 2.30 and we arrive in London at 10.30. It’s only quite a short time so don’t want to travel too far from the West End but also don’t want to just be walking around aimlessly. We aren’t from London but visit quite a few times a year so have done all the usual tourist stuff.

Does anyone have any recommendations for something we could do that’ll fill a couple of hours and isn’t too far from the West End. We don’t mind jumping on the underground

Thank You!

British Museum is the obvious one, or how about the Handel Hendrix House further west?

If you like art at all you could go to Trafalgar Square and have a look at the National Gallery (they’ve done a re-hang). The cafe in the Crypt at St Martins in the Field Church is just next door and a good place for a quick, cheap ish lunch. All just round the corner from the West End. Or you could walk down from Trafalgar Square to Buckingham Palace and St James Park

Browse around Covent garden?

St James Park is a lovely place to spend a couple of hours

Hop on a sight seeing river cruise from Westminster pier to Greenwich and back (two hours). Weather is supposed to be great this Saturday.
