Anyone have a tempur mattress? Would you recommend one?

Anyone have a tempur mattress? We are looking at Pro Luxe in med-firm, which I think is 30cm thick and has SmartCool. My main worry is it being too hot, despite the cool cover. Any help appreciate.

I have an old one without the cool thing. I roast in mine every night.

We actually just got rid of our 20 year old one which was AMAZING. Best quality, faultless, and. although we did compare amongst others recently upon needing to replace we did decide ultimately to go for Tempur again and it’s been a real let down.

We had no issues with heat before, or sagging, but this one only being 4 mths old is making me too hot to the point of not having the heating on in the bedroom when it’s snowing outside and is already sagging. And it has the cooling top - it is SO disappointing.

The quality cannot be compared to the old one. A real shame.

ive got a 15 year old one and was thinking of replacing but now i think i will just keep it! it’s great. i had a cheap one out of argos for the back bedroom but it was rock hard.

Mine is about 17 years old. Much to my mother’s disgust. But it’s so comfy and has kind of moulded to mine and DH’s shape. It can get a bit warm but I take the hit. Should replace it soon but I am not sure what with if the new ones aren’t as good!

Anyone else have/had one?

We bought one last year. I think it was the ProPlus medium firm. It’s 25cm deep, which was deliberate as the dog was getting too old to get on the deeper Kaymed we had before 😳 It’s a Superking and I was worried it would be too soft at that size, especially when said dog joins us, but it’s fine.

I love it, and I don’t get too hot on the mattress, although I find the pillow a bit toasty.

DH is not such a fan, prefers the Kaymed on our spare bed. He wants to swop , but it’s a smaller bed, so not happening.

We had one. It was great for the first few years, loved the way it just moulded to your body. But then it started to sag and it gave me terrible backache every night. Plus it was really hot. Replaced it with an orthopaedic mattress.

We had one. It was so hot, especially when I started menopause. It was before the SmartCool so I can't speak to that, but Oh. My. God. So so so hot. Comfy in a lot of ways, but. So. Hot.

I prefer a firm mattress. Even from new these give me back ache.

We got ours a few years ago when the cool thing was new. It’s really comfortable and I’m never too hot, unless it’s hot summer weather when everyone is hot. DH isn’t too hot either.
