How would you spend 24 hours alone in Easter holidays?

Thanks to work & DH & DC visiting family/going to football, I am in the unprecedented position of having 24 hours to myself in the Easter holidays! Thursday early evening to Friday early evening. This has never happened to me in 17 years of being a mum!

What would you do with this time? I have asked friends over but think they are probably away. I am toying with the idea of cinema or theatre & a restaurant. Or possibly an overnight spa break? Money is fairly limited but I figure I can splash out a little, maybe up to £100. I need inspiration!

I'd make the most of having the house to myself and pottering about as the mood took me. Going to the restaurant/cinema etc feels like something I could do anytime; having the house on my own isn't.

You're unlikely to get an overnight break in a decent spa for £100. You'll probably get a half day in a really good place like the Buxton Crescent or Rudding Park.

Then the rest of the time a good walk and veg in front of TV in peace with a takeaway or other food treat.

Vague idea to area so we can give suggestions?

I would use the money to go for a facial, buy myself some lovely new pyjamas, a new book, bottle of my favourite wine and a box of four of my favourite vegan chocolates from the local deli. Would probably add a take away or perhaps hummus, roast veg (prepped the day before) with Parma ham and bread for dinner.

Same here. I'd just luxuriate in the peace and quiet. If my house is empty of people I want to be in it. Pottering, as pp. Might clear out a few drawers. Watch what I want on telly. Get a takeaway. Bliss

I'd have lunch and see a matinee of something or cinema maybe (everyman rather than odeon). Or a massage

I should have added that I have 2 weekdays (school hours) to myself as I work on Saturdays instead & I tend to spend these pottering around the house, especially as I have to be on call for disabled DS2. So I definitely feel that I want to go out!

I'm in Essex. Can get to London relatively easily but uses up about £15 of my budget.
