Paris over the August Bank Holiday?

Is this a good idea? Not too fussed about how hot it is, more that apparently a lot of things will be closed? Also how busy is it likely to be?

Anyone?

Lots of restaurants will be closed. You’ll have a trek to find a bakery open. The city will be deserted. A lot of the small shops will be closed as well. Go somewhere else.
