Help me find the most luxurious duvet

Has anyone found the most comfortable luxurious super king duvet?

I'm on a mission to make my bedroom a luxurious haven away from my stressful life.

Any reccomendations really welcomed on any aspect of bedding and decoration that would help it feel hotel levels of luxury.

I have a modest budget but willing to save or daydream😂 for the right level of luxury 😍

More seriously go for high thread cotton sheets and have two sheets, not just a bottom one. I'm not too fussed about the duvet but I must have good sheets and a decent mattress topper. Belledorm often have some bargains in their sales.

It kind of depends on what you find luxurious.
I have a down duvet ( not the one above ) that spends its life in a vacuum sealed bag because whilst it has a gorgeous lightweight fluffy ultra cosy thing going on I boil if i try to sleep under it these days.

I have a wool duvet that is warm when its cold and cool when its warm a..maze..ing ! But its not got the kind of look or fluffiness I'd associate with luxury. But hands down the wool over the feather.

Down and feather mix pillows are a big yes though.

Linen duvet covers and sheets. Always look slightly rumpled but the sheer joy of the feel them.

I miss my bed when I go away because for me the function of the good looking stuff they bung in hotels is not anything like as good as having stuff that really "works" for me.

Throwaway name but I’ve just splashed out on a new bed frame and mattress. Always have cotton bedding, and my duvet is wool
i LOVE my room especially when I just have the bauble lights on

Bedroom2, it looks like we have the same bedframe.
We also have a wool duvet and mattress protector and nice sheets that are lovely and soft

I have a down duvet from John Lewis (I want to say it’s Hungarian!) and honestly it’s 10/10. I have two in there (tied at the corners) of different togs so I can have it thicker in winter and thinner in summer, it’s worth it. The bed looks so fluffy too!

Ooo thank you everyone some good tips. I will peruse John Lewis now. Think the 10k duvet is out of budget though 😂

I love my wool duvet from Devon Duvets. I can’t imagine having anything else now. I also bought them for my DC.

Hungarian Goose down duvet in various togs. The 4tog is fine for us April to Sept. In the autumn and winter we move to the 10tog. Never needed to join them for super hot duvet.

Then it's about high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet cover. I love a top sheet now, stops drafts and snuggly on a cold night and easy to sleep just under a sheet on a hot night.

Soak and sleep I have a reasonably priced goose feather and down duvet
It's incredibly light and beautiful
I had no idea you could lift a double duvet with one hand. I love it.
