Sometimes it rolls past me, other times it makes me feel like everybody's a twat or a fool and there's no hope for humanity. This is one of those other times.

I've just discovered Aldi's high-protein pittas. 13.5g per slice, and they're an ideal blend of crisp on the outside & fluffy in the middle. Currently enjoying one stuffed with ham, chicken and salad 😋

Went dog training this morning. The wind kept knocking the jumps over which made us (humans, not dog) laugh. Learnt two new things, one he wasn’t concentrating and then the later one he did well at.

I'm fully in menopause and hornier than I was at 23. I've been writing smut for the past year (unpublishable!) mostly about a certain actor and it's keeping me sane!

I gave my (large ish) dog my leftover corn on the cob yesterday and he very delicately nibbled off the little bits of corn and skin that I had missed leaving a perfect cylinder of the core behind. He started nibbling it while I was holding it for him and it was the cutest thing. He’s a big gentle boy.

Never got the appeal of Paul Newman until I saw him ‘The Long Hot Summer’. Then I understood his charisma, charm and his amazing eyes.

I went to the gym at lunchtime and got a personal best on my RDL. It's not a huge weight (42.5KG) but I'm on track for my 2026 goal to RDL my own body weight by summer (50KG)

I got fired at 23 months and 1 week from a job I was great at and loved, boss was very sexist. I was lost until I found my inner oomph and went for another one 2x salary and am now a leader and a boss myself, with a supportive and appreciative board.
