Iranian Mumsnetters, how are ordinary people coping with the current situation?

Hi, when Trump announced they’d killed the Ayatollah, there were a couple of Iranian mumsnetters who spoke about the regime, and how ordinary citizens were reacting. It was really helpful to know how ordinary Iranians felt, and their sense of newfound freedom.

What is it like for you now, if that’s ok to ask? I have no agenda other than concern for ordinary people.

Nobody in Iran is going to read this. The internet has been shut down along with all telephones etc.

The mumsnetters who were commenting on the original thread weren’t in Iran, I think, but were in touch with family and friends who were.

I was thinking about those people who at first felt relief, and hoping that they were ok. It’s very clear that this was never about freeing an oppressed country, but about what the USA stood to gain.
