I read this article this morning and it made me think of the posts I read in here by women in abusive relationships who are going to tell their partner they are leaving, and so many times are told by many posters to not do that.

We tracked reports and contacted police and prosecutors for a deeper look at the situation across UK.

I saw the article earlier too. It really makes for depressing reading. So many lives. 🙁

Yet they'll still platform anyone who declares that blokes in dresses are the most vulnerable demographic in society.

I was quite surprised on the news this evening they repeatedly said "allegedly killed by men".

Are those facts in doubt ? Hmm

I would think that phrasing is for legal reasons as cases wouldn’t have already gone to trial and resulted in a conviction.

Yes I read this article early today.
It's truly shocking.

It's also a really well researched and presented piece and perhaps those people who are continually knocking the BBC should acknowledge some of it's better contributions to journalism, like this one.

I couldn't understand the use of that word in an otherwise factually correct, but long understood and overdue, article. What the hell is the allegedly part? Unless that covers on going court cases.
