Why does Hinge dating app allow people you’ve said no to keep liking you? It’s annoying & creepy

Two different guys who I initially matched with on Hinge and briefly chatted to, then unmatched cos one I just realised I had nothing in common with & the other’s messages were a bit cringe. Recently both have ‘liked’ me on Hinge again after I unmatched. I know I can just delete the likes but it keeps happening and I’m finding it kind of creepy. There’s no option to report on Hinge unless you’re matched with someone but I don’t want to match with them again and I don’t think they’ve done enough to report them. Why does hinge allow this? Anyone else had this? And why are men so creepy?!

It seems like you should have two options to unmatch- never see that person again or allow them back into the pool after a certain timeframe. For example you had a better few options at that time but didn't actively dislike them.

But you should be able to just block them easily surely?

It sounds a bit dodgy anyway.

Hinge has no option to block. Which seems odd for a modern dating app

Arghhh..sounds crap. Idk much about OLD but I'd go elsewhere if poss if I were you. To one that's more secure in that way.
