Mole on feet any advice please ?

Hey everyone i have this mole on my foot on my
pinky toe I’ve seen the gp this morning she said any moles on the feet have to be taken seriously as there normally don’t go on those places on the skin I have a few moles on my feet too the ankle and also the other foot and some places on my body that are small I’m a big concerned as she said she will send a urgent referral to a dermatologist to see what they think I’ve included pictures please tell me your opinions thank you

You are doing absolutely the right thing. I have melanoma (though it isn’t on my foot and it doesn’t look like that). But they are correct that anything on your foot definitely needs looking at. Has it appeared recently or have you had it a long time?

My cancer appeared suddenly and grew quickly. I’d say it got to roughly that size in maybe 6 months.

What will happen next is they’ll likely bring you into hospital and take some photos with a special camera. They use this to analyse what it’s likely to be and whether it needs removing. Now they got mine wrong at this stage 🙄 and said it wasn’t melanoma but they’d still remove it because of the size and location. It came back on biopsy about 4 weeks later that it was melanoma.

Hope they get you in quickly (I was seen in about 5 days) and hopefully all turns out to be nothing too worrying.

@mindutopia thank you for your response so sorry your dealing with that I hope you pull through and everything is fine … where was your mole located and how did your mole look?

im not really sure when i noticed it they keep saying its small but they just want to contact the dermatologist so hopefully they get me in fast.

whats the treatment for melanoma was they able to remove your mole ?

You and your gp, did the right thing, in going and referring. My advice would be to try and put it from your mind until you meet with the derm (easier said than done!).
they will be the best ones to judge it, no one should or could tell you either way from the pics attached
