Ask your sister to give you a life interest and pay her rent.

But if she wants the money that she’s entitled to, then you can’t stay there.

Look for sheltered accommodation that you can rent.

You may be eligible to apply for social housing on health grounds, although depending on the amount of capital you would receive from your share of the property sale, may not qualify: many local authorities have a limit on the amount of savings you can have to be considered in need of social housing. If that’s the case then you could consider shared ownership (benefits can be used to pay the rent on the portion you don’t own) or rent privately. Contact your LA for advice on housing options.
