Very last minute, but I’m now wondering about trying to get two or three nights away at the back end of the Easter holiday, so from approx 8th April. I know “cheap” and cheerful doesn’t really exist, but cheaper would be good. We just need an escape with the kids. Had a great stay in a caravan a couple of years ago, similar would be good. We don’t want a huge site with entertainment etc etc but a playground and something indoors (pool or Softplay) would be a bonus. Also open to totally different suggestions e.g. if it’s weirdly quiet season in a business hotel somewhere that has a pool and some sights to see nearby, perhaps we could make something of that. Budget £200/night, might have a little flex. We’re near London but happy to travel. Kids are 5&7.
