cost of canned drinks in supermarkets

Why is a can of coke 90p in a convenience store and £1.30+ in a supermarket? I really don't understand what could justify this difference

Most are sold as part of meal deals, so it makes those look like better offers

same as always - if people will pay it that's all they need.

If nobody paid it, then it wouldn't be that price (well, except for the comparison price as noted by Kwamatiki)

It's not an essential and there isn't an emergency, so there aren't any laws against it.

Cheapest place to buy them from is Amazon - you can usually find offers for 24 cans of Coke Zero for around £7.
