Lower wisdom tooth extraction

Not my first wisdom tooth extraction but this one is bit different. I have had 4 and 2 of them were removed when partially out. This left bottom one is fully inside but it touches the root of my second molar. Its not painful at all but sometimes I feel pressure around it. My dentist said to wait it out until it becomes painful, but i don't want to wait until it damages my second molar and need to get it out. of course I am going to get second opinion on it but what are your experiences in similar situation? Btw I am currently in a country where we have private dentistry only so will get another dentist's opinion as well.

I would say to get on with it. I was in the same situation as you, and ended up also losing the tooth next door.

Both my bottom wisdom teeth are like yours, and the molars in front are now wrecked.

Get it done.

My current dentist said they should've been done years ago

I had one out for a similar reason, it was partially erupted but at a weird angle and pressing on the tooth in front. I had it done under sedation by a dental surgeon in hospital and the recovery was absolutely fine, mild pain for a couple of days, easily managed with ibuprofen. I'd get it over and done with.
