Flying TO Dubai??

I’m currently at Heathrow awaiting a flight to Singapore. Just noticed there are at least 2 flights tonight going TO Dubai!
why would anyone be going there?

Well if you want to get an aeroplane out you need to send one there?

it’ll be the repatriation flights on the outbound leg

People who live or work there. The airspace is now quite busy with flts going in and out of Dubai. Emirates have resumed most routes.
