Holiday booked with credit card can we get a refund

We have booked a holiday to Egypt for the end of April and paid by credit card.
If the war escalates can we get a refund if the insurance doesn't.

Providing the FCO advise against all but essential travel the company with whom you booked will refund. If they don't you have a claim against the cc under s75.

Other than that no. The travel company might for goodwill purposes allow you to change destination. I'd ask them now rather than wait.
