Does the thing I want exist?

I take ADHD medication, along with an antidepressant. Neither of which would be ideal for DCs to ingest. I like to think they know better, but the AuDHD is rife in this household and thinking through decisions isn’t always top of the agenda.

The problem is, I have appalling object permanence and memory which means I have to have my medicines physically on display at eye level, next to the sink where I brush my teeth, to remember to take them. I also frequently forget whether I have taken them.

I need a small, lockable pill organiser so that I can see whether I have taken my doses, they remain physically on display, and a curious child would be unable to help themselves to what is essentially meth.

I foolishly assumed this would obviously be available on Amazon. Turns out, I can have a pill organiser OR a lockable box. Or I can spend a small fortune on an old person’s automatic dosing box.

Surely I can’t be the only person who has this issue?

I can’t help with a recommendation however I have ADHD and forget to take tablets. I saw a tiktok that said to give your cat/ dog a treat every time you take your tablets and keep them in the same cupboard. My cat takes me to my tablets every morning now. Don’t know if you have a pet but it works for me.

Get a lockable box that you can leave in plain sight and put the pill organiser in it!
