Small but meaningful achievements

My eldest DD is turning 15 in a couple of weeks and for the past year or so she's asked for her old Nintendo switch to be repaired or a new one for her birthday or Christmas. I couldn't afford to replace it last year but have scrimped and saved and finally bought her a brand new one and she has no idea. I can't wait to see her face when she opens it! She's an absolute dream unlike her sisters 😂 I suppose that's an achievement too. I was only 18 when I had her and was shitting myself about raising a baby at such a young age but I'm so proud of her

That's fab op, well done on saving, it means more when something takes a while to save up for/achieve. When will she be getting it?

Thank you! On her birthday she'll get it I just have to keep my trap shut until then 😂

Exciting stuff! It's hard to keep quiet when you know how much they'll love the thing!
