Question about Bluey

In the Bluey universe, dogs have apparently evolved to be like humans and humans appear not to exist. Fair enough.

No other animals seem to be anthropomorphic.
There are birds (the budgie that died, the crow, Malcolm), pigs (because there are sausages), ponies (Buttermilk) and horses (Major Tom), wallabies and kangaroos, bilbies, baboons etc, etc.

I have never seen or heard mention of cats in the show other than references to the TV show, Cat Squad (“Cat Squad is here for your Purrrrr-tection!”).
So, my question is this: In the Bluey universe, are cats just regular cats or are they anthropomorphic cats?
Either way, where are they? You never see one (if I’m wrong about this I’m happy to be corrected) and yet they clearly exist 🤔

I think in one mini episode of Bluey, there is a picture in the background of their home office and it is an old portrait of a dog (old ancestor) who has hunted a cat? I saw it on a YouTube video my kids were watching.

I don't know what that implies about cats in the universe tbh 😬

In the hospital episode Bandit has a cat inside him and they have to get it out.

On another episode Bingo is on the toilet and she is heard singing the song “one man went to mow went to mow a meadow, one man and his dog went to mow a meadow.” Does she know what a man is? 🤔

I forgot about that! So probably cats are just regular cats.

I remember Bingo singing that song but never thought of that. That’s a very good point.

I thought that was clever him being an archaeologist because dogs like digging up bones.
