EasyJet phone number?

Overpeover · 04/03/2026 12:31

Help please, I need a direct contact number for EasyJet? My flight from Cyprus has been cancelled today. Now they’ve emailed me and want me to sit in Paphos airport for twelve hours to catch a flight to Birmingham instead of Manchester. Customer service number is useless.

if I were you I'd suck it up and get yourself out of there on any flight they offer!!
ChatGPT suggests UK customer service number: +44 (0) 330 551 5151
or live chat https://www.easyjet.com/en/help/contact.aspx

I agree with this. Options will be limited and I'm not sure you can be too choosy

LIZS · 04/03/2026 12:44

Unless you can get a flight to Manchester with another airline, that is probably your best idea and they (or insurer) should refund your transfer from Birmingham and sundry costs. If there are a number of passengers doing similar EJ may arrange a bus.

We’re quite prepared to go on the flight. It’s the twelve hour wait at the airport we object to. It’s a thirty minute drive and there’s only two of us in a taxi.

Take the flight!

YelramBob · 04/03/2026 12:48

Jet2 and Ryanair are the only airlines flying from PFO to the UK at the moment (TUI have cancelled their flights too) so if possible try to get on one of those flights.

MiddleAgedDread · 04/03/2026 12:52

why do you have to wait 12 hours at the airport?

Overpeover · 04/03/2026 12:59

The time they are due to collect us was for our original flight out today. We were due to be collected at 5pm for an 8pm flight to Manchester today.

OP posts:
helpfulperson · 04/03/2026 13:02

I would guess taxi demand is high and they can't change the booking.

Can't you get yourself to the airport or speak to the taxi company?

Just make your own way then?

LIZS · 04/03/2026 13:09

In the circumstances I’d rather be on hand in case the situation changes.

rockstuckhardplace · 04/03/2026 13:10

I'm guessing having you at the airport (at time of original flight presumably) means they can be flexible and maybe get you on an earlier flight if something else comes up.

I'd suck it up and go to the airport.

MiddleAgedDread · 04/03/2026 13:10

assuming you're on an easyjet holiday or package deal is there not a local rep?

TheGPThatWearsShorts · 04/03/2026 13:12

get a taxi to the airport at a later time?

Lindy2 · 04/03/2026 13:16

You do realise what's going on don't you?

You're being offered a safe way out of a zone where there's a risk of being bombed. Stop complaining about having a wait at the airport and cooperate with the emergency transport plans.

There's stranded passengers in nearby countries who would be incredibly relieved to be offered what you are getting.

Your priorities are very wrong.

Absolutely agree with this. I find it so interesting how different people are with perspective. There will be another person in the exact same position whose reaction would be ‘thank you so so much, I’m so grateful to get any flight out’
12 hours in an airport? Honestly, so what. Sit on your phone, walk about, sleep, day dream.

This. Get yourself to the airport, there are buses that will take you there. Try to get either a Ryanair or Jet2 flight to Manchester.

Easyjet announced on Monday that they weren't planning to resume flights to the UK until Saturday, it's a Cypriot-owned airline so they will have inside information.

Clearinguptheclutter · 04/03/2026 13:30

OP organise your own, later, transfer
do you need extra accomodation?

a chance that you can claim back the cost of both later though you’re pushing your luck I think if it’s due to “act of war” which I’m sure they will.

You could always fuck around and find out op.

Tell them you'll make your own way to the airport, get there and discover the time was brought forward for everyone who did go at instructed time, the planes gone and no more scheduled for the foreseeable.

MaidOfSteel · 04/03/2026 13:46

I just looked back on what EasyJet told me last time. They advised to log into your account and either start an internet call or launch a chat with an adviser.

Overpeover · 04/03/2026 14:22

*MaidOfSteel Hope it goes ok for you. Right they’ve rearranged the transfer for 2:50 am. Thanks to twitter. *

The hostility on here is unbelievable

OP posts:

I'm glad you've rearranged your transfer OP, fingers crossed you make your flight home.

I hope you don't think I was being hostile, I live in Cyprus and tensions are high at the moment.
