DD has started piano and hoping to grade this year. She enjoys it a lot. Currently on a very old 2nd hand keyboard. At what level would you replace and any recs for keyboards/brands for a newbie?

If she enjoys it a lot, I'd definitely upgrade from a keyboard to something with weighted keys at a minimum. DH and the DSs are all pretty serious pianists and we have three pianos - a Yamaha baby grand, a pretty nice upright, but at night they have this which you can plug headphones into and was only £400: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CDLDL35Z/ref=twister_B09T9XYZXL?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

When she gets to grade 4 or so and you're pretty sure she'll keep going, I'd go to a piano shop and get an acoustic piano if you can - second hand is fine, and there are arts council zero interest loans you can get if you're buying a piano for your kids to learn on. It's just different playing on the real thing, though it doesn't need to be super expensive or fancy.
