OnBuy.Com - Anyone used it?

Just that really, has anyone used OnBuy.Com for purchases? My Amazon Fire tablet has just died and an online search reveals that OnBuy.Com have got it for nearly half the price of buying one from Amazon. I haven't heard of this company, and although they have a 4.4 rating on TrustPilot it would be good to hear from somone who has actually used them.

Anyone got any views, good or bad?

It is just a platform for retailers/sellers.

I used it once to buy a ‘brand new’ iPhone for a good price. Never again.
It arrived unsealed and covered in fingerprints. I immediately contacted them but they insisted it was brand new. However, within a week, the screen started glitching and scrolling up really fast on its own so you couldn’t use it.
I did get a refund but it took a lot of arguing and hassle.

If something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
My experience definitely proved that!

I've bought two things on there. A very expensive gaming Pc which was great, no issues and excellent value for the spec.

The second was a Ralph Lauren hoodie for ds which I suspect might be fake. Logos and tags all correct but it hasn't washed well. Not usual RL quality.

I'm not sure if I would take the risk again with a high value item.

I used it once for a christmas presents. Took ages to arrive and was rubbish.
I wouldn't chance it for anything Like a tablet.

I've used it to buy fake lego sets and other cheaper 'tat' but wouldn't want to buy electronics from them. It's quite likely to knock off, and I just don't trust off-brand electronics not to set on fire (that might just be my personal paranoia)
