Ninja Ice Cream Maker

Does anyone have this and would you recommend ? I can't quite work out how you make the ice cream . Are these specific recipes or it easy enough ? Thanks for any info/ advice . I really want one but fear it may end up being friends with all the other 'makers' in the cupboard ...............

It comes with a recipe book and the instructions are easy to follow. It’s relatively easy to use, I’ve not used it at all during winter but I used it lots last summer. I think we’ll start to get more usage out of it again when it warms up
