What sort of seizures? What have the doctors said? One-off my children began to have seizures afte their 3 month vaccines. It wasn't an adverse vaccine reaction although of course at the time I thought that. The hospital were amazing and checked for every possible cause. It was taken very seriously becaise of their age at the time whixh would've also been the right sort of age for several genetic types of epilepsy to present. They eventually, after discounting a number of horrifying conditions months, discovered a fairly benign genetic condition which is linked to seizure disorders, my dc was more prone to seizures. They both febrile and non febrile seizures and were prescribed epilepsy medication for a couple of years until they grew out of it. They have had many vaccinations and childhood illness since which haven't triggered any seizures.

There are a few genetic mutations than start at or before 12 months and often when vaccines are given ( due to temperature causing seizures)

fir a first seizure it’s often a wait and see, though tests obviously should be done, this will also depend on the length of the seizure

if for example the seizure was 50 minutes, Limburg puncture, MRI, EEG

it’s when the second seizure happens that you should be asking, if not offered for gene testing on mum dad and baby

jooe all settled now
