Recommendations for boiler/home heating cover?

Have been woth homeswrve but the prices have gone up to £50 a month. Who is good for fully comp cover for boiler etc and to cover a boiler service etc?

I think you might find it hard to get much below £50. I pay British Gas £75 but that includes electrics and plumbing/drains. I find it easy to get a timely appointment (same day in some instances) and reassuring to know I have someone to phone whether it’s the boiler not working, toilet blocked or light circuit blowing.

I think it's generally considered to be a waste of money. Save the money and pay a local company for an annual service, and build up a reserve in case of future repairs.

Just go on a comparison website, there's always loads of deals. I've only got boiler cover (boiler, controls, central heating) but it includes an annual service and I paid £37.50 for the year (a one off payment) There is a £99 call out charge should I need a repair but it's still extremely good value considering a boiler service here is between £60-£80. The price will jump up next year but I'll just cancel and go to a different provider.
