Anyone found a solution? Please don’t suggest no wine. I like a wine or two but the flushing is so annoying!

I've got a feeling it is related to tannin in red... do you drink red?

It's usually the synthetic sulphates which cause this in most people. My husband suffered from this until he switched to only drinking organic wine. We choose organic wine when eating out (usually a bit more expensive) and I have a (large) selection at home. I was in the industry for a lot of years and a lot of other people I've come across in that time have also had the positive results from switching - and it tends not to give you a hangover if you drink too much as it doesn't contain anything artificial....

Maybe I can convince the local to go organic

It’ll be a high histamine reaction. I’ve had it and yes, had to stop and only drink organic. Pp is spot on about the sulfates.
