I don’t mean short term to do list like cook dinner /put the bins out type daily jobs

I mean more medium or long term things you are focussing on

Mine are:

  • finish bits around the house post-renovation
  • Ditto garden
  • Educate myself on online safety for kids now DC using iPad
  • Overhaul my diet & learn to cook some new healthy meals
  • Review of personal finances

I'm so sorry for your loss @ lordun
I hope you find purpose and relief from.your grief.

I've been recovering from an operation for 6 weeks and only been allowed to do the bare minimum of housework. As from.tomorrow that all stops. So top of my list is to give the house a really good clean.

Touch up chipped and damaged paintwork.

Give my houseplants some tickets

Start to do some jobs in the garden

Get myself out and about a bit further afield after being tied to the house a lot lately

Not looking forward to the housework bit at all but I'll feel better when the place is cleaner

Kickinthenostalgia · 25/02/2026 22:44

Getting ds18 through the remainder of his college course without getting kicked out.

getting a new puppy

sorting out the garden ready for spring summer. Which has to be on hold until after our Easter holiday.

not much else going on this year. Tbh I had enough going on last year so it’s a relief to have a bit of a break,

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 25/02/2026 22:59

Book a holiday, tidy my flat for sale, return shoes, whiten my teeth, declutter clothes

WonsWoo · 25/02/2026 23:04

Get a plan sorted for our ‘big’ 2027 holiday (for our 30th wedding anniversary)

Repurpose what was a junky box room for my WFH office.

Get 2 new tyres on the car.

Get our caravan de winterised for our first trip in April

Find whichever dog whispering genius can trim my very nervous dog’s claws without him having a complete freak out.

CleanSkin · 26/02/2026 00:53

Nice little things on mine -
Wrap friend’s birthday present
Sort pet food out for whilst we’re on a short holiday soon
Deliver home made cakes to friends

(Plus loads of other dull stuff but I’m ignoring that for now)

namechangeabc123 · 26/02/2026 01:12

Get my car serviced and get the battery checked

Finish bits of decorating in the house

Get a scale and polish
