How do I cope with the wait for test results?

Basically that. On the 2 week cancer pathway. I have seen a consultant and had a contrast CT Saturday morning. My next appointment is a week away.
I’ve been checking my NHS app ten times a day to see if it’s updated. I’m so stressed out and it’s all I can focus on.

The waiting is brutal. I can't offer any advice other than to keep busy and try to leave your phone where it's not easily accessible. I cleared out lots of cupboards. Best wishes.

I had to wait a week for test results and it was awful. I did my best to just keep going and put one foot in front of the other. I tried to distract myself and not think about it very much. It was hard. I hope you’re test results come back soon and with good news.

I will soon be in this position, surgery next week then waiting for histology. But would those sort of results appear on the NHS app?
