Staying centrally. Particularly like fish
cost no issue.

What's the best?

The woodsman is really lovely and the atmosphere is so cosy. Not particularly fishy though.

The Vintner in Sheep Street, traditional but consistently good.

The Opposition, also on Sheep St

My parents always go to McDonald’s when they go to the RSC 🙄

Anything down Sheep Street. I love Loxleys but Vintner, The Opposition, Lambs...

There's not a massive amount of fish-specific restaurants here as it's quite inland.

The Woodsman is decent. Salt was brilliant but is now closed. The tapas place on the Marina is a hidden gem. The Red Lion is now under new management and is a good gastro pub, but not the cheapest by any means.

The Arden Hotel ( opposite the theatre) is v nice.

Mor Kitchen in Henley Street is fab for sandwiches/brunch. They have a bakery in Bell Court primarily focused on pastries etc.
