What would it be to? I quite like 'Makepeace'. I knew a girl at school whose last name was 'Honeychurch', which is pretty. What would you go for?

I was asked my surname last week in a hall of other people, I've never liked it so cringed a bit at having to shout it out but the person who asked said what a nice combination it was with my first name.

When I was married I really didn't like my husband's surname, it was very unique but not in an attractive way.

If I wanted to change my name again (I changed back to unmarried name when divorced) I'd like something fairly ordinary that is not particularly unusual or rare.

I have a surname which looks misspelled so people always add an extra letter. It’s like being called Johnso so everyone automatically adds an N to the end. Pain in the arse after 40 years it!

Maybe a trader in caged songbirds?
