Matched betting - bet builder

I’ve just started matched betting to set myself a little challenge really. Anyway I thought I was understanding it quite well until my free bet today has to be a bet builder and I don’t quite understand how I lay a bet builder.

I’ve watched the videos but I just don’t get it. Is there anybody who can explain it to me in the absolute simplest terms (basically imagine you’re trying to explain it to a two year old please) and I’ll be extremely grateful!
Thank you!

A bet builder is just basically a few different selections on the same bet. Depending on which bookie it is with, lots have a bet builder tab- the simplest ones to go for are always a team to win and both teams to score yes or no. These are automatically set up on your lay bet exchange so no need to faff around finding it all Individually.

so for example- a bet builder would be, team a vs team b
team b to win and both teams to score.

sometimes you need to choose more than 2 selections and then it's a bit more complicated. Which bookie is it with and I may be able to help more!

My free bet builder bet is with bet uk and my exchange is matchbook. I was quite proud of how I was getting my head around it all but I cannot understand this at all. Like I understand the bet builder bit, but I can’t understand how to offset all of the separate parts with a lay bet if that makes sense.
