I’m currently undertaking an intense PGCE course and the juggle has been a lot to handle. I knew it was going to be hard, but I am shattered.

Anyway, I was really looking forward to this half term week off, I wanted to just have a couple of lay ins and do some lovely things with my children (mainly youngest as the teenager is very Kevin & Perry right now).

My youngest has been so poorly for the whole week! It is like having a new born again. I am shattered. Husband is still working and he does help out as much as he can, but I was really banking on this week off to just feel human again!

it’s so bloody typical isn’t it!?

Groaning for you OP, that's rubbish. X

Sounds rubbish OP, but this is likely to be your Feb half term for the foreseeable future. Feb is rubbish. I’m always absolutely knackered by Feb, everyone’s ill and it’s still bloody raining. Why for the love of god are you choosing teaching.

@DanceMumTaxii do ask myself that question weekly! I have been loving it. I have been out of work for a long time, and have a social work degree. I kept thinking about teaching, even though I know it’s not what it used to be. It’s been an eye opener for sure.
