(this is even more my view when you realise coffee chocolate was invented in order to undermine the Japanese love of tea. I don't think people should breed dogs for profit. If someone's dog has a litter, I don't think they should be sold, rather given away, although I guess if someone insists on paying for the puppy that's OK.
I meant in the normal common-sense scenario of someone deciding they want a dog and going to a breeder; I think people should go to shelters instead.

Responsibly breeding a litter from a health tested bitch and stud, raising the puppies well and ensuring both the high & stud are accomplished in their respective fields is expensive. Why shouldn’t costs be met for that? Obviously I’m not talking about when two random people decide to breed their dogs together to make £50 in their kitchen but when people do it properly.
