What do you pay for a haircut & colour?

I’ve never had my hair coloured at a hairdresser before, wondering if £85 for a cut and colour is good / average / pricey?

I have just booked my hair appointment online. It will be £89.95 for half head of highlights and cut and blow dry. Get it done approx 2-3 times a year.

It kind of depends where you are. I’m in the north west and I pay £71 for roots and trim every 5 weeks and 2x year roots, highlights and cut for £93. But it was 2 or 3 times this much when I lived in London

I was paying about £120 every 7-8 weeks for colour, cut and finish. Ive just changed hairdresser, and am paying £100 for the same thing, same timings. Yours sounds very good to me.

My hairdresser charges £50 for a cut colour and blow dry. She comes to my house so cheaper for both of us.

Balayage £160. Cut and blow dry £85. Roots only £85. I get my roots done and a cut and blow dry every 8 weeks and the Balayage freshened up every 3rd visit.

£80 for a full head and £65 for roots. I go every 7 weeks and alternate between the two.

Depends where you are! Im in a rural backwater so everything's a bit cheaper!

I had peekaboo hair the other week. I paid £130. One side has completely faded, and gone a weird blue colour, so they are redoing it a different colour for free.

North West: £35 for roots & blow dry every couple of months, £50 to include a cut ( trimmed about once a year, twice max)

£110 but the cut is a trim.
It’s at her home where her toddler also likes to get involved.
I get it done maybe twice a year.
I hate salons and fake salon chat though so I like going to her house.

Bayalayge, plus toner and treatment, trim and blow dry, about £250. I only get it coloured about every 9 months though. The trims in-between are about £60 every 10 weeks

It really depends where in the country you are and how much hair you have. I’m up north and I pay £72 every 6 weeks for roots, trim and a blow dry for long hair. I’m going for a full head colour change tomorrow and if it’s less than £100 I’ll be happy. There’s no way I’d pay some of the prices in the south.
