So much terrible news around today in the media.
Closer to home, a woman from work was sitting in her living room last night when 5 men attempted to break into, breaking all her front windows.
Please post something positive as I know there’s always good news out there…it’s just harder to find sometimes.

Nothing much to report apart from DD is in bed and I am having a lovely Greek takeaway.

I just bought two new sofas, two armchairs and a matching footstool!

Our first new furniture since having dc 20+ years ago so I feel confident they are safe from sticky fingers!

I’m so pleased with them and I haven’t taken the labels off yet but I’ve enjoyed having cups of tea sitting on them today. I may have stroked them at one pointGrin

DD started at a new work place today and they bought her lots of gifts welcoming her.
Flowers, wine, chocolates and a lovely mug with her name on. The office are all going
out for lunch on Friday. All paid for by the management.

My best friend has just messaged and asked if I'd like to meet for lunch tomorrow. I haven't seen her for two months as we've both been busy so I'm very much looking forward to seeing her.

We went to see Chris McCausland on tour last night and he was absolutely wonderful. So funny, perceptive, self deprecating, life-affirming. He made me forget my own troubles for a while, which was pretty impressive.

I second Chris McCausland - saw him last year and he's lovely.

Mine - a thrush has been singing outside my bedroom window at dawn for the past 4 or 5 days, even in the pouring rain. Spring is on its way 🙂

When I stroke my little dog, he goes into the deepest state of relaxation, which in turn makes me feel so fortunate and peaceful.
