I still don’t think the OP was the owner of that house. Maybe a horrified relative of the previous owners? Or an aggrieved neighbour?

I didn’t read enough of the thread initially to see the ‘before’ images. That poor house, it deserved so much better. And why pull up the lawn.

I recall one person on the thread saying they loved it, maybe they swooped in with an offer of £2.50 and a bag of posh crisps!

I think they may have been able to keep their crisps tbh, but maybe we'll all be proved wrong!

Maybe the “before” listing on the previous thread showed how much nicer the house could be with the makeover undone and someone went for it on that basis?
